Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are currently eligible for the government Universal Free School Meals.   If your child is in Years 3 to 7 but you are receiving benefits and think you may be eligible for Free School Meals, please fill out the Free School Meal Application Form and return it to the school office and we will let you know if you are eligible.  Children in Nursery are not eligible for Free School Meals.

Allergies

Please make the school aware if your child has special dietary needs or suffers from any food allergies by filling in the Special Diet Referral form.  If there is no medical or religious reason why your child should not eat a certain food, we always encourage them to try everything as having a school meal every day is important for their social skills and to introduce them to new foods and healthy eating.

Packed Lunches

If, however, you would prefer your child to have a packed lunch please make sure that it is balanced and nutritious.  We do not allow crisps, chocolate bars, fizzy drinks or glass bottles.
